Something or nothing
The difference between something and nothing is not always clear.
Explanation
As we deal here with mathematics, it sounds reasonable to call something 1 and nothing 0. That is quite logical. And moreover it becomes abstract. You would think that it should be clear whether the result of a calculation gives 0 or 1. But that is often not so simple.
You can also say: something is 0 or 1. If you have neither of these, there is nothing. This you need to write numbers in groups, if they contain only zeros and ones, as with
00 01 10 11
For this you can use spaces (so nothing).
