On a Casio calculator you can calculate common logarithms of base 10

or via the CATALOG as

Example 1
To calculate log (1) = 0
log 1 EXE log 1 0
because 100 = 1.
Example 2
To calculate log (1000) = 3
log 1 0 0 0 EXE log 1000 3
because 103 = 1000.
Example 3
To calculate log (27,83) = 1,4445…
log 2 7 · 8 3 EXE log 27.83 1.444513206
because 101,4444513206 = 27.83.
Example 4
To calculate log (0,1) = −1
log 0 · 1 EXE log 0.1 -1
because 10−1 = 0.1.
Example 5
To calculate log (103) = 3 log (10) = 3 × 1 = 3
log 1 0 ∧ 3 EXE log 103 3
Example 6
To calculate log3 (9) = 2
log 9 EXE ÷ log 3 EXE Ans÷log3 2
which of course you can also calculate as
