Bohm's interpretation of quantum theory demands the existence of hidden variables in addition to the Schrödinger equation. A quantum potential would connect all elementary particles and thereby enable contact between these particles without loss of time.
The American physicist David Bohm developed this theory already in 1952. It is a hypothesis that claims to reproduce all the standard results of the quantum theory in a deterministic way. American physicist N. David Mermin (1935) rejects this interpretation. |
