Gravity
Gravity is an attractive force that masses exert on each other.
Explanation
It is one of the 4 fundamental forces of nature. The most common fundamental interaction is gravity. After all, we experience this force every day. There are many different theories about it. Yet we know still very little about it. It has now been shown that gravitational waves exist. In quantum field theory you work with a hypothetical elementary particle, the graviton. However, entropic gravity does not need this particle.
HistoryThe English mathematician Isaac Newton (1642 - 1727) developed the first theory on gravitation. |
